The plugins and themes Authors submit must be their own work. Authors should not submit work that belongs to anyone else or based on other people's designs.
Authors must have the rights to create a licence for their work, either because it is their original creation or the work used grants permission to sub-license the work.
Authors should contact us immediately if they observe that another Author has copied their work. The contact email should include the Author's product listing address and the product listing that copies the original product.
Authors should not submit items that will result in harassment, cause harm to other users, contain malicious code, profanity, violence or nudity.
Author names should not mimic other authors names, for example, changing a few characters or using a name that is obviously similar.
2. Payments and invoicing
Payments for paid products are sent to the Author's PayPal accounts.
When a Buyer purchases a product, the payment to the Author is postponed until the payouts are processed.
OctoberCMS processes postponed payments once a month, during the first week of a month. The payout amount includes all unpaid commission for completed sales placed before the first day of month the payout invoice is generated.
The amount Authors receive is based on a percentage of the sale amount and Author's individual rate can be found on the Author Dashboard.
The current commission (gratitude) rate is flat and its value is 30%.
Since the day when our first marketplace author published the first third-party plugin, we’ve received new product review requests almost daily. As of today, there are more than 600 plugins on the marketplace, and now we can see trends and stats which help us to optimize the plugins marketplace and make it simpler for the October CMS community to find extensions they want to use in their projects. Today we are rolling out some important updates, which will improve marketplace usability and remove some unnecessary elements.
