Hi, will there be an update to the new laravel 5 structure after release of laravel 5? I have to rewrite a laravel app and now i consider going with octobercms or directly start with laravel 5 to be up to date. Which way would you prefer?

October uses a different directory structure anyway ;-)

October won't be using the laravel folder structure but it will eventually update to L5. Probably before October goes out of beta.

Yes thankfully we are unaffected when Laravel devs decide to change their minds about app structure.

October will most likely drop the app/ folder all together, in favour of a BYO (bring your own) approach. This means Laravel 4 and Laravel 5 apps will play nicely together.
