Had high hopes in the early days but as time went on...

e.g. The Media Library is pretty much unusable for me, had to stick with assets/images. Why add this feature after the announcement from beta to RC?

I think if you're applying edge update then it's to be expected. I've always found breaking changes to be for the good and easy to fix. Even the beta to rc early upgrade path was handled well.
