While I REALLY LOVE October CMS and would use it immediately, the lack of a Standard Multi Language Definition within the System (for Sites, Plugins, Themes, ...) forces me to ignore it for production at this stage. :(

There already is built-in multi-language support within the backend

In that case please advise how I create a frontend website (or website template) that serves german, english, french, spanish using OctoberCMS. While I appreciate taking the time to answer, some more specific reply than "its possible" would be much appreciated.

There is always the functionality to build a plugin to handle multi-language support for the frontend. I merely stated that the CMS offers built-in support for multi-language in the "Backend". Maybe you could build a plugin to transfer that functionality to the frontend also?

Don't forget, OctoberCMS is built on Laravel, therefore all of Laravels functionality as well as the added OctoberCMS functionality is at your disposal. Take a look at the Laravel Localization Docs as well as the OctoberCMS plugin docs, I'm sure there will be a solution to this between the two?
