Hello all,
I'm the PHP editor at SitePoint, and we have a peer review system in place that aims to improve the quality of our posts by having people look at them and voice their opinion before we publish. It's worked out great so far, and since we've got an OctoberCMS post in the queue, I was wondering if someone would be willing to take a look at it and let us know how they feel about it - how useful / clear / well written / up to date, etc. it is.
If you're interested in lending a hand (and earning some karma for later when we add in community awards and swag), please let me know by posting your Github username here so I can invite you.
The basics of our peer review system are described here btw.
Cheers!
P.S. Once you join, you don't necessarily have to restrict yourself to the October post - you can review as many as you want, even write for us (we pay for posts). This basically just gives you early access to all our written PHP material.
@daftspunk thank you, please see any PRs that seem interesting, but focus on October stuff first (two posts right now). The repo is called php-peers and you should be able to access it now if you accept the invitation either via inbox or by visiting the sitepoint-editors organization.
@thepottingshed you don't seem to be a Github user.
