Hi - Brand New to October forum ! I am not bothered by the fact that October has a different file layout. However, I have been poking around the documentation and various answers do not jump out at me:

Is October on L5.1 ? or even 5.2 ? Is it only on Twig or can I use Blade ? Can I use all my vendor packages that I am used to ie Jeffrey Ways flash and Barry VDH PHPStorm compatibility package ? What are the notable differences between L5.1 and October ?

If in doubt about the version of a thing that something depends on, composer.json is a good place to start.

Yes you can use laravel packages in your plugins;) October based on L5.0
