Hi everyone

I am a newbie in PHP and want to learn coding for October CMS. I was wondering which topics I should choose to learn in order to develop a plugin or theme for this CMS. And one last question , is there any difference between the versions of Laravel and the one used in October?

I think the best way is to read the October CMS documentation (many times) and just browse the core and rainlab plugins code and see how it's all done.

There's also the tutorials under the help section which are a very good way to learn. Good luck.

October always uses the latest Long Term Service versions of Laravel. With October CMS v1.1 that's Laravel 6.
