I'm currently looking at OctoberCMS for an upcoming project, and need to be allow visitors, on the frontend, to search both DB stored models, and also the text content of the site, which is stored in files.
My main concern is trying to collate a list of pages that contain the search terms, as these could be static pages, from the Static Pages plugin, standard CMS Pages or Content files that are included on a standard CMS Page. I'm aware that they're all stored in the filesystem, so I can load and search the files, but figuring out which pages contain which contain could be tricky, unless I can somehow get October to parse the page template and store it as a string to then search, rather than searching the raw page file.
Is there any built in method (I couldn't see any) for searching page/content files, especially when it comes to multiple languages, where you have a content file per language? Also, is there any best practices for loading files like this, to limit any speed issues?
Any help, or a point in the right direction would be much appreciated.
How about something like this?

Offlines Sitesearch works really great, and its very good with other plugins. Also its very easy to write your own search providers. I really love it:)
