Hi all, I am looking into converting a WordPress blog into an October site, with blog plugin. Is there a utility (plugin?) out there that can convert the posts, comments and categories into the October blog format? In the interest of avoiding reinventing the wheel, I would love to speed up the project with something ready made. Thanks!

The RainLab Blog Plugin have an Import Function. But I never tried importing Wordpress Post. Maybe you have to create some manuall db queries to fetch data in the way you need it.

@Crazymodder : thank you, I will take a closer look at the import function. Afraid manual queries might be too cumbersome in this case. Looks like I may have to write up some PHP to convert. I was just curious if someone might have done that already, given that it seems like it could be a common task.

Thanks, alxy! I need to learn me some of that plugin searching magic :-) Yes, it looks like it's 75% there. Comments are very important here, the particular plugin does not seem to handle that. But 3/4 of the way in is way better than nothing .
