Apparently you do not have a full path to the svg icon, it should look like "plugins/author/plugin/assets/images/icon.svg" (from the root directory of the OctoberCMS installation). More details can be found on the demo version of the plugin (by the way, I updated OctoberCMS to the latest version today - everything works).

If you have additional questions or the problem is not solved, please show a screenshot of the settings so that there is more information (you can email).

No, this field is not required - you can use a regular icon (selected from the icons-dropdown in the plugin). As for the plugin working, reinstall the plugin (you may first need to delete the linkonoid_backendmenu_settings key in the system_settings table).

Invalid menu item detected in Linkonoid.Backendmenu. Contact the plugin author to fix (The >code963.icon field is required when code963.icon svg is not present.)

You could do something with it.

1 Version, the latest Update. Now i have removed the Plugin to get in Backend but still see the same Error. I have already many troubles with this plugin!

I updated the CMS installation on the test demo server to the latest release v1 (CURRENT BUILD 473), entered erroneous data in different versions, saved and ... and everything works stably. I can't say what exactly your problem is, you can go in and check on the my test server (backendmenu/admin): https://backendmenu.test.linkonoid.com/backend

I do not know what to answer, it is possible that other installed plugins affect the work of the plugin. Unfortunately, it is impossible to foresee everything, and there will always be an option that can bring a stable system into an inoperative state.

I can recommend deleting the erroneous plugin data in the database (if the plugin is disabled, then this should not affect in any way, though ... by the way, the plugin data reset does not affect these tables and probably the problem is really in the incorrectness of these data): system_settings -> linkonoid_backendmenu_settings - just delete this field and reinstall / enable the plugin. When creating or defining menu items, save, reload each item after editing or changing (it's hard to say, but maybe something was not saved or some data is incorrect).

I will additionally update the plugin to v1.3.0 during the day (some minor improvements have been made).

The plugin has been updated. The new version additionally added a check for the existence of an SVG icon when rendering a menu, perhaps this will solve your problem. In addition, the CMS-repeater is set to "accordione" to reveal only the current position and lazy loading is enabled to interface speed up the plugin.

system_settings -> linkonoid_backendmenu_settings - just delete this field and reinstall / enable >the plugin.

Oh yes, that was the solution. I have installed the last version but now i get the message: "Invalid argument supplied for foreach()" on line 64 of /var/www/fastuser/data/www/site.de/plugins/linkonoid/backendmenu/models/BackendMenu.php I can not change anything.

I was able to reproduce your problem. Hopefully it has been fixed in the new version v1.0.4. Also fixed a bug in the override of the system menu and made a number of improvements. There are plans for a complete refactoring of the code and new functionality.
