Somewhere between 1.0.7 and 1.1.1 the name the emails get sent out as .. changed from Account_First Account_Last - email@domain.tld

to

Administrator domain.tld - email@domain.tld

So for example they used to get sent out as: Bob Smith - bob@domain.com

Now they are sent out as: Administrator domain.com - bob@domain.com

Hopefully this can be fixed!

Yes I am aware of this and the change was driven by emails getting marked as SPAM when they are sent from an email that does not match the list domain..

This has been a struggle for my organization that sends out to a few lists of about 200 people several times a week.

The change was made to reduce the SPAM score and make messages more deliverable.

That being said, I feel that you as the end user needs to be made aware of the SPAM issue and still have a choice of how YOU want email sent. So I will work on a "fix" for this over the next couple days so that you can configure the plugin to send from the address you desire.

Sorry about the misspelling of "Always" in the Settings page. Correction will appear in next update.

But you all have a choice of how the FROM field is set when sending mail to the list now as promised here in my last post (4 days ago ).
