What kind of data do you mean?

The documentation content is the following:

• Show food lists on front-end (an example code)
• Add foods in a list to the front-end (an example code)
• Add front-end booking form (it is a component)

1. Thank you for your reporting the bug. I updated the documentation.
2. The Booking front-end componenet is a basic sample. So I don't want to add other features (datapicker, animated label, live validation, etc.). You can add any datapicker plugin easily for this form.

2. Can I override this frontend form with my own file, and avoid override back to default in next update?

3. Also, what about email notification about added reservation not only for guest, but for admin/moderator? Owner should get instant info about new client/order etc.

Finally I added the datepicker for Booking form :) I hope it will be useful for you. And also I made the email notification for admin.
