Back to Backend Skin Support

I just updated an OctoberCMS 1 project to OC 2 and I am getting the error: Call to undefined method Backend\VueComponents\Modal::addJsBundle() whenever I try and access any backend page. I removed this plugin with php artisan plugin:remove Cyd293.BackendSkin and removed the myTheme/backend folder - now the backend works again. Simply by reinstalling this plugin, without creating any myTheme/backend folder, it is back to the same error. It applies to all backend pages. Can you please advise if this plugin has been tested with OC 2? I have a stack trace available. Thanks Tony

Hi,

The current version of the plugin is not yet tested in version 2.

I will try to make time for it to support version 2.

Thank you

Hi Cydrick,

Thanks for the reply. After upgrading to OC 2, I came across the WinterCMS story and have decided to change all my October sites to Wintercms. Supposedly all the plugins should be compatible but it seems that yours isn't. With your plugin enabled I get a broken header in the backend and I also constantly get Invalid Security Token error despite page refresh, admin logout, php artisan cache:clear and browser cookie clear. Disabling your plugin directly in the database solved the issue (including the Invalid Security Token issue). Just letting you know! It's a great plugin and somehow I've got to get my backend changes up and running again in the site but I don't know whether you have the interest to get this going for Winter?

Thanks

Tony

Hi Cydrick, Just to say that I jumped the gun on the Winter issue. Whereas OC 2 was giving issues even without overriding any files, I had forgotten to update the overrides when testing with Winter. My apologies. No I've updated my layout overrides from the latest Winter files, it's looking like it may be ok. I will continue testing. thanks Tony
