When I try adding the widget to dashboard, it keeps throwing an error. Only percentage widget works. This is a screenshot of the error message displayed.
And when I refreshed the page, it hung up giving me a stack trace. Now the dashboard is inaccessible. I then fixed this by accessing the backend and emptying the value column in the backend_user_preferences table in my account's tuple. I however cannot add the widget as it raises the exception. Its a bug I believe.
Here's my php --version

Running on linux based shared hosting. Here's the stack trace which appeared on refresh:
I think it's a minor bug which can easily be solved. I am currently on an ongoing project so can't dig into it. I already am using the analytics plugin and it works great. I wanted to test this extension plugin as it was visually much better looking but when I added it my backend crashed with a message (shown in first comment) and then the above stack trace when I refreshed the page. I resolved it immediately by altering the backend_user_preferences table to remove that component alone and it fixed it immediately. Now I cannot add the component as the same error occurs so I'm continuing with other additions to my project.
Anyway good luck fixing it! And thanks for sharing the plugin.
I wasn't able to reproduce the bug, but thank you for your documentation of it. I think it was caused by PHP 5.4 not liking how I was using the empty() function. Hopefully the bug is fixed now, let me know if it persists. Thanks!
