Using Coda2, I have created new pages inside the content/static-pages folder -- On both my local server and when uploaded to my hosted test site, the pages do not appear in the Static Page List in the backend. Although, if i go to add a page with that name - I get an error saying it already exists. I have tried updating, logging out and logging back in and can't get it to recognize the pages.
I was referred to an Artisan update, but I do not know the CLI - is there a way to force the update without using this?
thanks, Theresa
You should always create static pages using the interface - otherwise you will have to do certain updates manually.
In this case, you need to modify /themes/your-theme/meta/static-pages.yaml
. This is the configuration file for static pages and october uses it to list all static pages. If you created the pages on your local installation, I recommend to simply override the entire /theme/your-theme
folder. This will update the file accordingly (assuming you used the interface to create the pages).

thanks. that makes sense why git was updating too. I have over 100 pages from a site i'm trying to put into October, so that is very helpful to know.
