Hi im want to participate in the project, i have a few systems buids in Laravel, but i notice the Laravel version in October is 6. There are plans for upgrade the laravel version?

Other topic is the public folder i like the structure comes in the framework with only exposes to the world 1 file index.php and only static content in the webserver for security reasons.

Yes, we have plans to upgrade to LTS v9 when it is released. So far we stick to LTS releases for minimal breaking changes.

You can introduce the public folder with this command

php artisan october:mirror public
