I've searched low and high and don't see an answer to this on OctoberCMS.com or google for that matter.

I'm writing a blog post and added a few links to my article, using the WYSIWYG editor. I need external links to open in a new tab aka have an attributed added for target='_blank' to my links. Is this built-in or do I need to write some JS?

Thanks in advance, P

If you're using the markdown editor just include a normal anchor tag instead of the regular markdown links. If you're using a plugin to add a WYSIWYG editor then it should have some option to make a link open in a new tab.

Thanks Luke!

Regular HTML worked great!
