Seems like the blogList components all use a variable called $blogList, which means if you try and set multiple blogLists on one page, they both have the same content (the second overrides the first).

Any way around this? It'd be nice if you could set the variable name in the component options.

This is a great point. although I am trying to imagine a case where you'd have more than one on a page? I will test this and should be able to come up with something for you. Give me a few days here.

The use case is one blog list in a primary content area, showing posts from one category, and another blog list in a sidebar showing posts from a different category.

In this case, the main content area is showing actual "Blog posts" and the sidebar is showing a "news feed"

has any solution been found for this problem? I'm not really using the ProBlog plugin, just the standard rainlab blog plugin, but I have the same problem.
