I have installed a new site with Composer 2 from scratch. When trying to run it I get mixed content errors for the web site and too many redirects for the backend My https is run via an nginx proxy server I tried the simple https plugin and that causes everything to go into a redirect loop. I have tried the system.php settings etc with force and secure. Nothing I have done works.

Where can I find information on how to set up October CMS so that it works correctly?

Anyone else had this issue and managed to fix it?

Thanks!

Check the system.link_policy setting and set it to either force or secure. If you are using force, make sure you have the correct URL set in app.url. These files are located in the config directory.

The plugin may need to be uninstalled.

I have set the system.link_policy to force. In regard to app.url, is this the APP_URL setting in the .env file, or is it also set somewhere else?

Changing the system.link_policy to force (APP_URL was already https url), has made no difference. After making this change, I also did a cache:clear, route:clear and config:clear but again no difference.

In regard to the plugin, I deleted the whole site and made it again from scratch so that it was all reset back to the default install.

Anything else I can try?

Thanks so much for your assistance!
