Hello,

I wanna create a simple news website with an additional js cards stack feature. something like http://www.vox.com/cards

I figured I'd let OctoberCMS do the heavy lifting: user auth, article submission, backend... and I can focus on creating the cards feature.

My question is would OctoberCMS let me do that? Can I just create new models and views like I would with regular Laravel?

User: Rainlab.User. Possibility to be extented

Blog: Rainlab.Blog.

Contact Form (articles submissions): laminsanneh.flexicontact. Possibility to be modified.

Backend extending: Can be done trough a plugins. All listed plugins here uses the October backend (normally at /backend). See the docs.

And of course, you can create your plugin, and build something more easy for you. I really recommand to read the docs.
