Theme uses OFFLINE Mall plugin for basic e-commerce setup. What do you mean when you say that the pictures were lost. Demo theme uses some sample data just to demonstrate theme functions and overall user experience .There is no sample data after Mall plugin installation. Where exactly do you face problems. Inserting products and categories is very easy.

After you insert your product and categories with their images you can go to theme settings on index tab and advertise those categories and products on the home page.
