Hello guys. I plan to create a large project. Multidomain. There is a single root and multiple domains with different content. This is an educational social network. Also there are a variety of companies and job and so on.

Actually the question is - Is it worth it to use in OctoberCMS on large projects? Or better use for it clean laravel?

Is October withstand large load? I ask you to share your opinions and experiences.

Thanks in advance.

Laravel and October are not much different, except October brings lots of useful tools and patterns that save you time. Everything possible in Laravel is possible in October.

Using october saves you a lot of time because all the basic tasks are done for you. On performance site I haven't found any disadvantages at using october instead of pure laravel. I don't know you requirements but please keep in mind october uses some ajax request to load data and render ui elements. So like always in ajax be patient that the response is not too large because this can slow down everythink on your users browser. But I think this can be handled with some cleverness:)

Thank you guys for your answers. October imposes some restrictions. For example the use of angular rather difficult. What do you think of it? Also the question of load on the server. October whether can withstand a large number of visitors?

I personally really love October CMS but for me it is an CMS. So for more a WebApplication like Website I prefer Laravel/Laravel Spark. I think you don't have to do all task with the same tools, so there is nothing wrong to don't use october:D There is a October/Angular Package out there maybe you will take a look. Server load also have to do a lot with configuration but on identical systems configuration laravel and ocotber would create nearly some load. I think there is no big difference.
