I got this error message:

Invalid file name: . File names can contain only alphanumeric symbols, underscores, dashes and dots. Some examples of correct file names: page.htm, page, subdirectory/page

And all I did was added some new images to the assets tab. I'm not sure why this is; my file name seems to be correct. I'm new to October CMS, so I'm not sure how to go about this.

did you already figured out what is the problem? I have the same problem and can't find the cause.

[edit]: seems that my problem was related to the SEO extention. Disabling this plugin solved the problem when working with static pages.

What was the filename exactly? There can be problem with spaces in filename.
