Hello, I have installed October on Stretch Debian with nginx. All has been install. I credited a login and a password. But now to connect I got this message A user was found to match all plain text credentials however hashed credential "password" did not match. I had the same sentence with an other installation. How could I solve this bug ? Any idea ?

Never had this problem. How did you create this user? What version of October?

  1. Backend user on OctoberCMS (super-user)
  2. Some software update(s) and time passes...
  3. Change password in 'My Settings'
  4. In the doghouse....

FYI, I do get this exact error message if I enter the wrong password on login...

It's also possible to set backend user password using this artisan command:

php artisan october:passwd -h

Description:
Change the password of a Backend user.

Usage:
  october:passwd [<username> [<password>]]

Arguments:
username The username of the Backend user
  password The new password
