Keep getting this error:

Thank-you for participating in the OctoberCMS Beta. This testing phase has now ended, please visit http://octobercms.com/beta for more details.

Trying to install the debugbar plugin. The automatic install/update doesnt work, so I tried installing it directly by entering "scottbedard.debugbar" but that didn't work either.

You need to upgrade your "beta" version of october to the "rc" version. How to do this is described here: http://octobercms.com/beta

Your choices are to either

  • upgrade (harder - but if you want to follow the instructions on http://octobercms.com/beta), or
  • Install a fresh copy of October. You'll get the RC which supports installing plugins.

Many plugins have been updated to support RC (including all of mine), however some haven't and will result in error on install.
