← Back to City Google Maps Support
Hello everyone, I’m currently using the City GoogleMaps plugin and ran into an issue where the map does not appear on the frontend of my site. The component has been added properly to the page and everything seems configured correctly, but the map area remains blank. I’ve already confirmed that the Google Maps API key is valid, the API is enabled in Google Cloud, and there are no JavaScript errors showing in the browser console. I’m wondering if there are any additional settings, required scripts, or theme-related issues that I might be missing. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Hello,
It's difficult to say. If you use October v.4, that could be a cause, because the plugin isn't tested for that version.

This Google Maps setup sounds awesome! The flexible data management especially catches my eye. It reminds me a bit of how addictive the levels are in Drive Mad – always something new to figure out! I've been wasting so much time playing Drive Mad recently. Easy to use is definitely a plus, makes tackling big projects much smoother.
I once planned a road trip through an unfamiliar mountainous region. The printed map I had was outdated, and I ended up taking a detour that added hours to the journey. It felt like I was battling a Level Devil, trying to find my way back onto the main road in the dark.
The street signs were a delightful hieroglyphic puzzle. I got hopelessly turned around trying to find this tiny ramen shop everyone raved about. It was like a real-world Connections Game where the clue was "delicious soup". My phone eventually saved the day. Thankfully, no one was eating cold noodles on my account.
Useful content, the tool is flexible and easy to implement. Data management works well, you can try Block Blast if you have time.
