Is it smart to have multiple developers add "First Name", "Last Name" to the users table? What will the users table look like after 5-10 plugins that need these data points add their own with a prefix?

I suggest an Official plugin by rainlab that adds these fields so developers can all rely on the same data points for any plugin they want to develop.
