Hello,

Are there any good tutorials on converting an existing HTML template to an October CMS theme.

I've been browsing the internet and there are many tutorials on how to make a theme from scratch. Or is this enough for me to get the hang of it and be able to convert?

If this would be enough then; If I follow this https://octobercms.com/docs/themes/development for instance, what would be the things to look out for when converting an existing HTML5 template?

Coming from WordPress, this is pretty new to me but I like the system so far and that it is based on the Laravel framework. It gives me a lot more freedom to work and less painful digging into the code.

When it comes to building themes, October CMS acts as a more advanced version of flat HTML files. Take a look at this video flat-file October CMS where I explain some of the basics

The CMS documentation is a better place to start as it describes the templates found within the system: https://octobercms.com/docs/cms/themes

Have fun!
