Hello,
I'm using a nginx server with php 5.5.11 and ISPConfig 3.0.5.4 as control panel. I've installed the october on my server successfully but when I go to "System > Updates" and click on the "Check for Updates" button, I get the follow error: Error connecting to the server. I've tried to stop the firewall but was not it was causing the lock, still getting error.
Someone know how to fix it? Or what is causing this error?

I'm training to solve this. I'm doing some local tests to produce the same error then i will check the possibilities on the server. Maybe it's a blocked port or can be the ClamAV antivirus I think. Well, have a lot of other possibilities :/ and no solution till now.
Has anyone found a solution to this? I have the same problem running MAMP PRO 3 > PHP 5.5.10 when trying to upgrade from localhost.
Try this:
- Check open_basedir option (must be disabled, or in white list must be added adress to app/storage/tmp/ folder
- Check tmp folder in app/storage and permissions to storage folders (777)
- Disable cURL followlocation option in vendor/october/rain/src/Network/Http.php
The latest version of October will display a more detailed error. Please try again and paste the new error message.
