The introduction of the Media Manager was awesome, but already some time ago now. It's great to finally be able to have a file browser in October, but there is a big 'oh oh' preventing me from using it effectively. There is no option to embed any kind of content provided by external parties like (in particular) Youtube and Vimeo , and less important: Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

There are plugins that address this problem by replacing the entire Rich Editor, but these also (partially) replace Media Manager for Elfinder. By using ElFinder, Media Manager becomes obsolete and Media is fractured between multiple File Browsers. So for clients this is a "problem".

Are there any plans to implement this feature in the near future?
