Hey, Downloaded october yesterday. Installation was a breeze and the backend looks really nice and simple. I'm currently trying to follow the blog & forum screencast to get acquainted with the backend.
Sadly though, drag and drop doesn't seem to work for components. I've tried it in chrome/firefox/ie. There's no adblocker or anything else running. When I click the icon it just stays a finger-pointing cursor, not a 'grabby' cursor. Am I missing something?
If you click on a component when displaying a page, does the component get added then? Just trying to understand what works and what does not...
Hi don't have a touchscreen, but i can do nothing with components! I can enter my info (for exmaple : Todo Max Items), but I can't drag and drop, or use the components.
First I think it was a problem with WYSIWYG editor, but it not.
Please answer my question above. Does the component get added if you click it wthout grabbing it? It should work and then the only have to add the component command to your code manually.
Some ideas...
- post a picture of what you are clicking on - 1000 words etc
- check the console of your browser and see if there are any errors showing there
- try it on a different machine
Console error -> october-min.js:1524 Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function Different machine (Android) -> Working. Different bowser (Aurora (Firefox Developer Edition)) -> Dosen't work.
Had this problem in Chrome on W10, this fixed the issue for me :
Point Chrome to URL: chrome://flags DISABLE: "Enable touch events" DISABLE: "Enable touch initiated drag and drop" Relaunch chrome
