When October checks for updates, I get this cryptic error: "Trying to get property of non-object". and the updates process stops. There are no entries in the error log about this error, so I haven't the faintest clue what is the cause of this error.

In a separate clean install of October I don't encounter this error.

Ofcourse it would be very helpful if the error message was more specific! Has anybody had this problem and - better yet - does anybody know a solution?

Even when I disable all plugins and disable updates for them, the error persists.

I got this when I had an installation attached to a project, but the project had been deleted. So I just detached from the project to fix it.
