Currently I have a customer with an existing website made with OctoberCMS. The website counts more than 70 pages. They are in the process of rebranding their companystyle and obviously they want to change the look and feel of their website too, but preserve the excisting content.

What is the best practice for OctoberCMS to change the visuals and structure of a website, while preserving its contents? OctoberCMS saves all pages and static pages within the active themefolder. Changing a theme, makes the excisting content dissappear and be replaced with the contents of the activated theme. Wordpress for example, lets you change the look and feel of a website while containing the content, but so far I miss this feature in OctoberCMS.

Did you guys stumbled on a similair case and what was your workflow in dealing with this?

Thinks it's just a case of duping your currently active theme into your themes folder, renaming it to v2 or whatever, then in the backend, navigate to [Settings] > [CMS] > [Front-end theme] and activate your new theme
