New here and been thinking about moving a site from Drupal to Octobercms. I've looked at all the User plugins and they all seem to deal with frontend users. I want to allow members of our team, who have backend access, to manage their profile pages. There will never be frontend users for this web site.

So far, the only suggestions I've seen when reading the forums have been about using the User plugin and creating an entry in each user table that is created (front and back). Is there not a simpler solution to this? Perhaps a configuration in the plugin that says use the existing backend_users table?

You can use backend users, what's the problem?

Profile pages. Fields for them to enter profile info as well. Or do I simply have to create all that myself?

Yes, just create a Profile model and associate it to a backend user.
