Do i have to install piwik manually?

This is what I did.

  1. Install - Add project -> update
  2. Setting
    • Misc tab site address *.site.com site id site
    • Add piwik component on layout I use right now.
    • Add {% component 'piwik' %} on blog page's html section. not code.

Currently this plugin does not have any admin widgets to display stats data. I may add that in the future, but it doesn't exist at the moment.

Before you can successfuly use the plugin you need to set up your own installation of piwik (http://piwik.org/) on a server you control. After that, in the admin area of your Piwik site you can add your October CMS site. Piwik will then generate a Site ID for that site.

In the admin area of your October CMS site, find the Piwik Plugin Config page and add your site ID and the url of your Piwik installation. From there you add the Piwik component to the layout page you want to use it on and then add {% component 'piwik' %} where you want the tracking code to appear in the layout, as you mentioned.

Hello jcb,

There are no widgets at the moment, but feel free to send a pull request if that is of interest to you.
