Apologies if I'm being dense... but is there a way to customize the /blog/tag/X and /blog/category/X pages? An example use-case would be putting a heading on the page or adding a sidebar. Can't figure out how to customize the base / default pages? I know how to customize a component but in this case I want to override / extend the individual tag / category pages.

Thank you, Austen

hi @406digital, open your file manager, go to problog folder in "plugins/radiantweb/problog" then enter folder "components/tags" , you can find default.htm on it, open that file then copy all inside it. Now create a new partial inside a folder, like "foo/bar.htm" , paste everything inside default.htm on it, make some change as u like. Then call component u wanted to use on page, but replace it, such as this {% component 'proBlogTags' %} into {% component 'foo::bar' %}

Hi @imunisasi -- Thanks for your comment. I don't want a copy of the default page however, I want to modify the default page that the plugin uses to render blog tags (or categories). So all of the dynamic 'tag' pages like /blog/tag/something. There seems to be no way to change this obviously I could change the default.htm file you mentioned, but that seems like it would break future problog updates. Perhaps a slick way to set a page/partial to use instead of the default one?

hello @406digital, please dont change anything in default.htm just copy anything inside it and create a new partial page and call it instead tag component. just like an example i gave you before,

Thanks for the tip but this is not what I'm looking for. I don't just need a component for another page, I need to make it function with any and all tag pages. I don't have a 'tag detail page' since problog seems to have this as one of its 'inner' pages and has no setting to make it use another page in it's place that I see.

Hey @ChadStrat, any word on this? I really do like problog and october, but it's frustrating not being able to easily customize things like this.
