← Back to Multi Domains Support
[QUESTION]. I have current configuration:
http://www.mydomain.com/ running an ecommerce site.
Now i wanna use October for offer my users some different services so i'm going to add
http://www.mydomain.com/blog/ adding a domain Alis /blog/ to manage a blog and i wanna add http://www.mydomain.com/courses/ adding a domain Alias /curses/ to manage list of tutorials.
So Yes i could create 2 separate installation of OctoberCMS. But my question is if i can in some way make the 2 domai nalias and have only one octobercms installation . So both services will share same database
The question is not quite clear.
All this can be done by standard means through variable substitution when routing (http://www.mydomain.com/:course)
Or it means that they should be on different subdomains? Then it is better to use a plugin.
In both cases one CMS installation will be used.
