Hello, I'va a big problem with the medias used in the wysiwyg. The link is not absolut, so I got a link like this one "/storage/app/media/uploaded-files/promo.png". Because of that, the newsletter is broken. Do you have a solution please?

Thanks.

Hi,

I am not sure if there is such a function in October's wysiwyg. I know two solutions to this problem, but I know they are not perfect. Maybe someone will have better idea.

Solution 1: While writing the message:

  1. click the last button in wysiwyg: "</>" (code view),
  2. locate the image in message and add your domain before /storage/

Solution 2:

  1. Add images to your media in backend - click media in backend navigation and upload image
  2. Get image url - after clicking the image you will have its URL on the right under "Click here" link. You can click it and copy from address bar, or right-click the link and select "copy link location". It must end with your file extension (like png, jpg etc.)
  3. While writing message insert image using URL (the second option in wysiwyg insert image dropdown)

The first solution requires a little understanding of HTML and you have to ensure the image is visible publicly. Although the second solution seems harder it really is easier and better.

Hope that helps.

If you manage to get this done a different way, describe it here :)
