On new install of RC. CMS interface won't show content. Wondering if this is linked to issue with

file_put_contents(): Exclusive locks are not supported for this stream (Which arises when hosting on vidacloud, support told me exclusive locks are not supported on their cloud, so we removed the call to the lock from function which got rid of our error) now I'm wondering if this breaks the CMS

ON a side note. Is the RC database the same as the Beta. Can I overwrite an RC install with a Beta version of SQL as at least i have various settings etc in place on hte BETA one
