Hello, newbie here. I just installed the Static Pages plugin and then went to create a page. I tried to select a layout to use but the dropdown says "Layouts Not Found". However, the default layout is still defined and viewable from Backend > CMS > Layouts. When I go to CMS > Pages I can assign a Layout just fine. Do static pages use separate layout files from another location?
I would say you just need to add the Static Page component to the layout in order for it to appear in the dropdown menu.
@GearsOfLOve...maybe you already got your answer, but all you have to do is open a Layout in the CMS and then click the Static Page component to add it. After that, you should be able to see that layout available when you hop over to the Static Pages side.

How to add the site header/footer layout in custom views?
Thanks
