Hello,

The last days I've been working to understand how to create a basic plugin. I made a plugin that uses only form elements and what works perfectly , it was quite easily afterwards.

Now this is Done wanted to do the following. I have previously written a script to manage certain content. This script consists of functions , classes and a number of files and directory's.

Now my question is how can I make the script that I already have change to a October plugin.

now I can just upload all files and directorys to the plugin directory And create a plugin.php but do I have to set there things to About the excisting script? I do not see how I can let word October plugin with already existing php files.

  • Do I have to make a route for Every file And action of just a global?
  • I must re-create the whole script?

I do not see how to start and hope that there is someone here who can give me a starting piont and help me on the way how I can convert an existing script to October plugin.

my thoughts are u need to make it into a plugin and perform an autopsy of the code, and tweak it to octobercms.

otherwise, if you dont want to rewrite it, route it to the url of the php script. Not really helpful i know~
