Hello
Lately I've been experiencing some weird plugin updating problems on this site.
When I try and upload my zipped source and when the processing finished, the "last updated" date is set to today, but the change log and version stay the same. This is the plugin I'm having difficulties updating: Mja.Events.
Has anyone else got this sort of a problem?
My updates/version.yaml
file:
1.0.0:
- First version of MJA events plugin
- create_event_table.php
- create_registration_table.php
1.0.1: Various bugfixes
1.0.2:
- Invoices can now be added to the events
- add_invoice_field.php
1.0.3: Registration exporting
Last updated
I would like to help but I dont have your plugin unfortunately. I would guess that there is a problem with the yaml file. Check the spacing, and maybe try removing the versions that do not have an update associated with them (1,0,1 and 1.0.3)
Right, I think I figured out what the problem was. Bitbucket source code download had archived my code in a folder, so when I extract the archive I get:
bitbucket-project-COMMIT-ID/Plugin.php
instead of Plugin.php
.
I manually created a proper archive and uploaded that one. It worked!
It would be great to have some sort of an error message if plugin update failed for some reason.
