I use CMS Pages only for dynamic pages. Here You place components or PHP code (if necessary). This section is mainly for users who have basic knowledge of the CMS. I don't recommend giving permissions to this section to Your customer.

Pages in Pages Plugin are used for all static content you have on Your site. For example "About us" page. This Plugin is mainly for allowing customers to edit their site content.
