Any idea why this is happening:

"Package files from server are corrupt Something went wrong during the installation. Please see the documentation for more information."

This is after passing all tests in the beginning, after DB setup, after most of the downloading is done... happens towards to end.

Have tried multiple times without fail.

Already running other laravel projects on the local machine in question.

This was more than likely a permission problem, the latest installer will not allow you to proceed without making the install files writable first.
