We're looking at managing multiple installations of OctoberCMS and having a true multi-site installation option (like WordPress Multisite) would be extremely helpful (for thos not familiar, here's a summary: http://www.wpbeginner.com/glossary/multisite/).

Key features would be:

• single installation
• superadmin level theme and plugin management (which cab be disabled for site specific admins)
• Rapid rollout of new plugins and updates across all sites from one management console

...I'm sure there are other less critical features that could be useful.

Hi Sam, thanks for mentioning that plugin. We've already looked at it and it doesn't really come close to what we're wanting. Its a nice option, but pretty feature light compared to a WP-Multisite feature-set from what we've tested :)

Why not contact the plugin author and see if he can accommodate your requirements? (unless you've done that already ;p)

Hi cmchris, Where are you standing on this multi-site request ? I m planning to build this system and release it to octobercms if they think it could be usefull for the community, however if you already have that solution, maybe you can share what you found on it ? Best regards david
