Hi,
I checked out the tutorial 21 "Beyond Behaviors" for nested relations. Anyhow it is more than 4 years old and I'm wondering if it is meanwhile possible to create nested relations using the integrated behaviour. Tried it, but failed so far. But maybe I am missing something!
Any hints, tips, links, experiences?
Thanks in advance!
Oskar
The information contained in this screencast is still relevant. We recorded this video to show that behaviors are not always necessary and you can write custom functionality yourself. It is more work but the flexibility benefits are huge
It is an advanced topic and of course it depends on your requirements on the best path forward
Hello daftspunk!
Thanks for your reply. I will go on as said in the tutorial, it's very well explained in all details :)
Anyhow I think I will miss the benefits of the listRender() method such as sorting, filtering, switching columns on and off - this is so useful in every-days use. So I still hope there will be a solution once to create nested relations in the way simple relations can be implemented.
Cheers & thanks!
Oskar
