If the Media Manager has tens, even hundreds of thousands of files in it, will it paginate or will it just be a list of a hundred thousand <td> tags in the html?

Also will it be slow to load the list from the database?

I'm wanting to know if I should use it for that many files or just use custom directories that do not have a frontend manager.

I also have the same question. Media manage is too slow because of a lot of images

@mattm with tens/hundreds of thousands of images, it'll likely be slow. It is a known issue - see https://github.com/octobercms/october/issues/4622.
