I have a website at Tux Tips. The backend is having some issues lately. Whenever I try to create a new blog, the editor never opens up. After analyzing the issue I found out that modules/backend/formwidgets/codeeditor/assets/js/build-min.js?v365 has some code that resembles a virus pattern. Can anybody help me out figuring of how to fix this pattern.

This seems to be a common problem with some AV programs: http://askubuntu.com/questions/743917/clamav-scan-found-the-virus-html-exploit-cve-2016-0108

The only option you have is to contact your hoster and ask him to disable this check for this file, as it does not contain a virus. The sources for the build file are open, so you are free to check to be sure ;-)

@alxy I tried explaining the issue to my hoster but they are dead set against disabling the scan for this file. I provided them with the proof but they are still not convinced and are asking me to remove the part of the file which contains the pattern resembling the virus.

Is there anything else that I can do?

Yes. Switch the hoster.
