Is there a simple way to use Laravel Socialite for Facebook/Twitter and other social authentication in October CMS ?

Can't this be added as a basic part of October Authentication as almost all the sites today need Social Auth.

Note: I'm aware of this paid October plugin (http://octobercms.com/plugin/flynsarmy-sociallogin), please don't mention this as an answer.. Thanks.

Have you considered using a service like Janrain? They offer 2500 registered users for free.

If there is an LTS release of Socialite it should be compatible. If not, log an issue on GitHub for any compatibility issues. They can be fixed in two ways: making October compatible with Socialite or porting Socialite to October.
