Hi, Has anyone tried anything like that before? If so, will be it so hard for a beginner? Or else should I go for firebase?

Hi Dijo,

Anything is technically possible with October CMS and it serves as a great backend for robust applications like a car sales application. With this in mind, October will be not very different to a Laravel application.

There is a plugin that offers similar functionality here: https://octobercms.com/plugin/ideaverum-car

I hope this was helpful.

Hi daftspunk,

Thanks for your reply.

I have one more doubt if I am about to create an android application in flutter, will it be possible to have october cms as backend?

If so, How?

This would be using October CMS as a headless CMS. Take a look at the plugin registration file on how you can register Laravel routes to expose your API fo the flutter application: https://octobercms.com/docs/plugin/registration#routing-initialization

A good place to start also would be the RainLab.Builder plugin to quickly get started building your first plugin.
